Unzip Bloody_Dismemberment_JK2.zip, and place Bloody_Dismembermentjk2.pk3 into your gamedata/base folder, then load up SP as normal. If you want excessive dismemberment, in the console (Shift + ~) type 'g_saberrealisticcombat 1'

This mod alone will add copious amounts of blood. It uses all the same effects as the mod for Jedi Academy. This is a conversion of the popular Bloody Dismemberment Jedi Academy mod to a Jedi Outcast mod. Those of you who aren't bothered by a little unrealistically over-the-top gore (that's the way we like it, right?!) will be very pleased at the new addition for Outcast! However, as with the original, you will be able to partake of "copious amounts of blood" and because JK2 is so much cooler than JK3 in the dismemberment department, you can scatter stormtrooper bits everywhere along with gallons of blood! There are two different ways you can install Bloody Dismemberment!. this means you need to go manually into each of the NPC files In JK2 you could just type 'g_saberrealisticcombat X' and get dismemberment, but in JA Bloody Dismemberment! is a single player mod that not only adds blood to your game butĪlso adds sounds and, you'll never guess, dismemberment! It actually works really well! The blood looks very much like blood does in most games where it's there by default, clear puddles on the floor with splashes around it and a spray when you first strike someone, it's definately one of the better blood mods out there. This is not for the faint of heart or for those who distain from blood in video games - some people love the realism, some people find it very bad.then they go off on a tangent of blaming kids behaviour on it.but anyway!Īctually on that note, let me quote the readme as it makes a valid point According to the readme (I believe this is true) in JA it became hard to enable dismemberment in SP because it was write protected (or was this just a case of using the command line?) Anyway this mod makes it so everyone is dismemberable, everyone spews out blood AND you get the gore sounds too.
A blood mod for SP (I tried it in MP as well and it does work but I didn't see the blood marks on the floor).
